Rad.  Rad.  Rad.  And they won’t kill you. Designed to just stand there and look geeky as a mofo, these excellent Robot Sculptures ($750-$6,000 and take about a month to make) from Bennett Robot Works win my design nod for the day. The site says 30 robots are currently for sale and they’re made from crap found in “garbage dumps, basements, construction sites, and garage sales”.  Schweet.

What.

I only kinda designed this site. This theme was originally created by Mirza R. I made modifications to it (with the help of this guy). Also, some of the artwork is from this guy's tutorials. The site is energized by an amazing simple service called Tumblr.

Why.

Design is a way of life and a struggle all around us. This site is dedicated to effortless design - in all its forms - and how incredibly "effortful" an effortless design really is. – tom ajello
